generating file for quickbooks online (QBO) journal entry import

Does anyone have any experience generating a file that Quick Books Online can use to import journal entries ?

I see lots of information online about how easy it is for Quickbooks to import data, but I haven't yet found any file specificiation defining what the file format might look like.

Looks like a different format for each type of entry
