Getting product images for display

Hi

I am quite happy with displaying images on screen in a windows application.  I just wanted to ask where you get the images of products from ?   i have a client who wants to display pictures of each of his 10,000 products on their "Product card"   - one image per product.

Im sure soem of you have done this before.  I just wan to know where you get the images from ?  Do you hold them as JPG files on yoru server, or is there a web service you can use where you pass a bar code and it returns the image.  If so,  what ios teh performance like ?

Not sure there is a single correct answer to this question, but I would generally consider using some kind of cloud storage (Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, and Microsoft Azure Storage), or Content Delivery Network (CDN). This would of course incur some additional cost.
