Is anyone using the Carbonite Double-Take software to replicate a windows server that hosts synergy databases?
Many questions for anyone using Carbonite's "Double-Take" software to replicate a windows server containing multiple synergy databases to a offsite disaster recovery site.
Has anyone been able to successfully restore a uncorrupted synergy database from an offsite replicated server that was created by the Carbonite "Double Take" software?
Any tips about how to configure the Carbonite "Double-Take" software to replicate a useable uncorrupted Synergy database ?
The software says its aware of the requirements and has settings for many other database types but, the requirements for creating a backup or snap shot of a Synergy Database are not defined.
We've been running the Double-Take software for a while now, and paying a Disaster Recovery service to keep the replicated database safe.
I have no access to the replicated server to restore it to our site or, to verify that the server and the synergy database it holds are restorable and uncorrupted.
I do see it often consume the synergy database servers resources which negatively impacts the performance of our synergy apps.
Any tips on how to configure the Carbonite "Double Take" software to Replicate and Restore a un-corrupted Synergy database?
